Nathan McCaffrey

Personal Trainer

From a young age, I enjoyed playing sport and training of an afternoon. This is what influenced me to become a personal trainer. Over the past 10 years I dedicated my time and energy to helping clients achieve and maintain great results.

My passion is working with people to understand their goals and coaching to achieve them. I empower my clients to make wise and motivated choices with food and exercise so they feel great, increase their energy and live a healthier life.

I started Fitwise to create a community of people to help them enjoy exercise, meet new people and feel comfortable and supported each and everyday. I also enjoy mentoring other Fitwise trainers to be their best and become successful trainers themselves!

We are here to build a community and strong relationships in a fun results-based environment.

“Achieve more with Fitwise”

Brayden

Personal Trainer

Hey there!

I’m Brayden, one of the trainers here at Fitwise. With a background in Exercise Science, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how the body functions and how to use exercise purposefully not just for fitness, but to support specific health outcomes. That knowledge fuels my passion for helping people feel better, move more confidently, and achieve goals that genuinely improve their quality of life.

From a young age, I’ve always loved being active and playing sports. Whether it was kicking a ball around after school or joining weekend teams, movement was my thing. As I got older and started learning how the body responds to training, that casual interest evolved into something much bigger. I began to see how powerful exercise is not only for performance but also for physical and mental wellbeing. That realisation inspired me to become a personal trainer, so I could share what I’ve learned and support others in becoming the best version of themselves.

My fitness journey started early, but like many people, it shifted over time. I went from playing every sport I could find to discovering the gym. I loved the autonomy, setting my own goals, tracking my progress, and pushing my limits. One of my clearest memories is sprinting home from school, throwing on gym clothes, and racing to catch the bus just to squeeze in a workout. (Admittedly, there were a few close calls and some very uneven shoelaces.)

A big influence on me was a family friend who had an incredible understanding of the human body. The way he blended technical knowledge with a down-to-earth, friendly approach left a lasting impression and continues to guide how I work with clients today.

But beyond the programs and progress tracking, what I really love is creating a space where people can hit pause on everything else. For many of my clients, the gym becomes a mental escape, somewhere to unwind, reset, and feel good. Being the familiar, supportive face in that process is something I value deeply.

I firmly believe that no one is beyond change when it comes to their health. But change doesn’t happen in isolation, you need support, accountability, and someone in your corner.

That’s where I come in. I hold my clients accountable, celebrate their wins (from PBs to small everyday victories), and also have the tough chats when things aren’t going to plan. I’ve seen clients surprise themselves after just a few consistent weeks moving better, thinking clearer, and actually enjoying the process. Through it all, I stay focused on one thing: helping you take consistent steps toward your goals.

I’m also incredibly lucky to be surrounded by a brilliant team of trainers. We all come from different backgrounds, with different passions and experiences which makes the environment vibrant, dynamic, and constantly evolving. Add to that the amazing community of motivated clients we have, and it makes Fitwise a place people genuinely look forward to coming to.

Whether it’s chasing a new PB, feeling stronger in everyday life, or simply showing up more consistently, I want to inspire both clients and fellow trainers to keep moving forward. The real magic of working toward a goal isn’t just the outcome, it’s the discipline, confidence, and energy you build along the way.

One mindset I live by and encourage in my clients is this: showing up is most of the effort. You don’t have to feel 100% every session just being present is a win. I’ve seen how powerful that mindset can be. It’s something I lean on during stressful times, and I hope it reminds others of what they’re capable of too.

Personal Trainer

I became a Personal Trainer to show people that resistance training is essential for living a healthy, strong, and sustainable life. You don’t need to train every day to see results — just 2 x 30-minute strength sessions per week, 3 x 30-minute moderate exercises, and a commitment to whole food, balanced nutrition can completely transform how you look, move, and feel.

My passion for fitness started young — I played football from age 8 and went on to play semi-professionally in my early 20s. Wanting to improve my performance led me to resistance training, which became the foundation of my consistency and work ethic. I’ve learned that what you put in, you get out — and consistency compounds.

Now, I get to share that with my clients — watching them achieve things they haven’t done in over a decade, gain strength, and reach their goals is what drives me every day. I focus on keeping energy high, always encouraging consistency and discipline, even when motivation isn’t there. I remind my clients: “You’ll never regret yesterday’s workout — but you will regret missing it when you stray from your goals.”

At Fitwise, I love the personalised approach, the strong sense of community, and working alongside a team of like-minded trainers who are all passionate about making a real impact. We each bring different strengths, but we’re always on the same page when it comes to our clients’ success.

My mission is to inspire both clients and fellow trainers with a positive, empowering mindset, showing them that you are only limited by your beliefs.

“You gotta change to change.”

Craig

Personal Trainer

My inspiration to become a personal trainer came from my own fitness journey. Experiencing the transformation that consistent training brought to my own life made me realise how powerful this process is – physically, mentally, and emotionally. Now, I find it incredibly fulfilling to help guide others toward a stronger, healthier version of themselves.

I’ve always been active, but my true passion for fitness developed later when I began training with purpose. That shift gave me direction, discipline, and a new level of self-belief – things I now aim to instil in every client I work with.

What I love most about being a trainer is being right there with my clients as they hit milestones, overcome challenges, and build confidence. There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing someone realise their potential.

To help clients stay motivated, I focus on personalised programming that keeps training fun, challenging, and aligned with their goals. I remind them that there’s always room to grow – and that they’re capable of more than they think. It’s about progress, not perfection, and learning to trust the process.

At Fitwise, I’m proud to be part of a tight-knit team and a supportive gym community. We all push each other to be better, and the energy here makes it a place everyone genuinely enjoys being in – both clients and trainers.

I want to inspire clients to believe in themselves and remind them that real change is possible with the right mindset and support. Whether it’s improving strength, fitness, or overall wellbeing, I’m here to help them show up, grow, and succeed – one step at a time.

“Progress, not perfection.”

Fitness is a lifelong journey. Keep showing up, stay consistent, and good things will come.

Macrina

Personal Trainer

My inspiration to become a personal trainer came from my own transformation journey. I was once 20kg overweight, struggling physically and mentally. Taking control of my health changed everything — not just my body, but my confidence, mindset, and outlook on life. That personal shift sparked a deep passion to help others experience the same kind of change.

I didn’t grow up playing sports, but my fitness journey truly began when I decided to take responsibility for my life and wellbeing. Through consistent training and learning about nutrition, I discovered just how powerful fitness can be — far beyond the physical. That realisation is what pulled me into this career and continues to drive me today.

What I love most about being a trainer is watching people grow — not just in strength or stamina, but in self-belief. Seeing clients become proud of themselves, trust their abilities, and celebrate progress they never thought possible is the most rewarding part of my work.

To keep clients motivated, I focus on structure, encouragement, and celebrating the small wins. I remind them that progress is about consistency, not perfection, and I strive to make sure they feel supported, seen, and capable at every step of their journey.

At Fitwise, I love being part of a community that genuinely cares. The supportive, energetic vibe here empowers both clients and trainers to thrive. Every session is meaningful because we’re working together toward real, lasting change.

I want every client to leave the gym feeling stronger inside and out — more confident, more capable, and more proud of who they are becoming. And I hope to inspire my fellow trainers by showing up authentically, supporting others, and always striving for growth.
“You don’t have to be perfect — just consistent.”
Progress isn’t about getting everything right. It’s about showing up for yourself, especially on the hard days.

Personal Trainer

I have always been passionate about fitness and helping people feel confident in their bodies and strong in their everyday lives. I love seeing how powerful movement and exercise can be for both physical and mental health, hence turning the passion into a career. My fitness journey started through swimming and team sports. I always had to try every sport growing up, and often competed in swimming meets and carnivals across the state. This early love of fitness has grown to a much broader interest in the science, health and training of it all. What I love most as a trainer is seeing clients surprise themselves with what they are capable of, whether it’s lifting heavier weight, running further, or just feeling more positive and energetic. It’s incredible rewarding to be apart of that process. To help clients stay motivated I focus on small wins first, habit tracking and making sure goals are realistic and personal. Also reminding clients that wins aren’t don’t always manifest as physical, rather they can be mindset, energy levels, or simply creating a stronger relationship with exercise.

My favourite thing about working at Fitwise is the community, everyone supports each other which creates such a positive space. I hope to inspire consistency over perfection, and I want my clients to feel empowered to take control of their health. I believe that the goal isn’t to be perfect, but rather showing up, being consistent and to keep going.
